Bila bi laž da kažemo kako smo “pisali o Kayli” ranije. Da, dobila je članak jednom, ali uglavnom smo podijelili njezine slike. Što više-manje i sada radimo.

Gospođica Kayla Itsines dolazi iz Australije i ima preko 12 milijun followera od kojih velik broj vježba s njom gotovo svakog dana.

Rekla je kako je bio izazov vratiti se u formu nakon što je rodila kći Arnu, ali s obzirom da joj je posao utjecati, nije joj ništa drugo preostalo nego zavrnuti rukave (figurativno, jer nema ni kratke rukave nikad, a kamoli duge) i odraditi to.

Uspjelo joj je itekako, nije izgubila korak s konkurencijom.

Podijelila je Ladder Challenge sa sljedbenicima (što smo i mi), jednostavnu vježbu za svakog.

Ako ti je prelagano – samo podebljaj tempo i napravi više ponavljanja, proći će jako malo vremena dok ti pluća i mišići ne počnu goriti.

Ono što želimo reći je – svaka vježba je dobra ako prestaneš otpuhivati na njezinu jednostavnost i stvarno počneš nešto raditi i znojiti se.

Being respectful and kind to one another has never been more important than it is right now! ⁣ ⁣ I have been thinking about this a lot lately and it reminded me of an experience I had while i was training in a gym in 2009… I was put in an uncomfortable position when a guy came up to me and asked me an inappropriate question. I let him know politely that I wasn’t interested and he turned around and said something quite rude. I won’t get into the specifics but it was an uncomfortable situation for me, and I then had to train near him every single time I went to the gym and it felt SO awkward. ⁣ ⁣ I have never forgotten it. ⁣ ⁣ Then a little while ago I bumped into that person, who asked me for a photo for his girlfriend. We had a chat and I said: “Do you remember what happened the last time you spoke to me?”.⁣ ⁣ He looked totally confused and had literally no recollection of what happened. I told him I could remember exactly what he was wearing, where he was standing, what time of day it was, and the exact words he said. ⁣ ⁣ He then said it sounded like something he would have done back in the day, apologised and said: “I can’t believe you still think about that – I’m so sorry I did that because I walked out of the gym and never thought about it since.”⁣ ⁣ Long story short, I forgave him but it’s insane to me that I thought about it for more than 10 years, while he never ever thought about it ever again. ⁣ ⁣ This whole experience has reminded me exactly how important it is for everyone to show respect for each other. Now more than ever, we need to practice being respectful, especially while we are socially distancing — because if we all do this, the world might feel just that little bit safer. ⁣ ⁣ And when you are connecting with people, whether it’s via a video call, DM, email or phone call, or when you have to leave the house to go food shopping, think about what you say to other people and how you say it.⁣ ⁣ Be supportive of those around you. I’m so grateful that I’m able to @SWEAT at home right now. Working out helps me clear my mind, keeps me calm and makes me feel confident and strong. 💪⁣ ⁣ The best thing about it is that whenever I work out when Arna is awake, she thinks that I’m putting on a show for her and she thinks it’s the FUNNIEST thing. 😂⁣ ⁣ My workouts are literally the only time when she sits still, she actually thinks it’s hilarious when I’m doing burpees or any kind of jumps hahah. This photo is the perfect representation of my personality as a child. As soon as I see things like these rings or anything I can hang or swing off my inner child comes out and I just want to see what I can do. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I had just finished a training session in Bali and I found these rings outside the gym. I didn’t even know this photo was being taken and this wasn’t about fitness or training at all I just wanted to be upside down!! I was shaking so much and I could only hold this for a moment, I was like “how do people do this??”. It definitely didn’t feel this hard when I was a kid hahah. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ No matter where I am or what I’m doing, I always try to have fun. SKIPPING WARM-UP⁣⁣ How do you warm-up?! My go-to warm-up is 3-4 minutes of skipping, followed by dynamic stretching. If you don’t have a timer, you can do what I do and just put on a song and skip until the song has finished (songs are usually around 3 minutes each). I know skipping can seem difficult if you haven’t done it before, but the trick is to control the rope and not let it control you! You should know when the rope is near your feet because you have complete control (using your wrists to turn the rope). Also, do not use your WHOLE ARM to spin the rope around. Work your speed up slowly!! It doesn’t take long to pick up, I promise. ♥️⁣⁣ ⁣ If you’re new to skipping, you’re not going to be able to skip like this on your first go and that’s normal!! It took me a while to build up to be able to skip this way.
