How often should you train glutes? 🤔 🤷‍♀️ The answer is… *drumroll* 🥁 🥁 🥁 🗣 It depends! It depends on your goal (building muscle/toning), on how you train (heavy/light weight), on how fast your body recovers etc. 🤗 🍑 Some indications: 🍑 👉🏽 If you train with heavy weight, your body will need more time to recover so you shouldn’t train glutes more than 2-3 times a week 👉🏽 If you train with lighter weight, you’ll be able to train your glutes more often (some people even do it 4-5 times a week) 👉🏽 what’s for sure is that if you want to see significant results on your glutes specifically as this is what we’re talking about right 😜 then training them just once a week will most likely not be enough 🤗 🙏🏽 You have to find what works for you based on 1) what you want and 2) how your body responds 🙋‍♀️ Personally, I find that training glutes 3 times a week works well for me with a mix of heavier exercises (hip thrusts mostly) and loads of unilateral exercises that I do with much lighter weight ☺️ 🛑 This just shows that there’s no one size fits all when it comes to fitness and shaping your body, everyone’s body will respond differently and that’s why you shouldn’t compare your progress with someone else’s but rather with your OWN progress 🤗 📸 by @samuellathrop #bootybuilding #glutes #buildabooty #fitfam #fitfrenchies #fitnessmotivation #workoutmotivation #fyourexcuses
