Najjači trener na društvenim mrežama nema six pack i govori istinu o gubljenju težine

James Smith je jedan od najjačih likova na Instagramu. Ne može mrtvo podići 400 kilograma, nema paket od šest trbušnjaka nasred trupa, ali je najjači jer govori istinu. Govori ono što vam drugi osobni treneri neće nikada priznati.

Ne boji se ni opsovati. Njegova knjiga “Not A Diet Book” je jedna od najprodavanijih knjiga u kategoriji prehrane, fitnessa, a možda i self-helpa (nismo brojali) i na jednostavan i lako razumljiv način će ti otkriti sve zablude vezane uz zdrav način života.

Redovito na svojim profilima na društvenim mrežama dijeli savjete koji su u knjizi (samo su u knjizi na jednom mjestu, smisleno posloženi) pa se tako u recentnom postu dotaknuo i gubljenja težine.

Losing weight is a weird one, because most people don’t actually WANT to lose weight first and foremost…⁣ ⁣ They want to feel better, look better, wobble less on a run and not feel inclined to black out the bedroom before fucking. ⁣ ⁣ Weight loss is actually more so a byproduct of fat loss. Yes some populations stay the same weight when losing fat… #zebras. ⁣ ⁣ The problem lies within YOUR VALUES for success and so many of you are… ABSOLUTE FUCKING MORONS (no offence) when it comes to setting values inside and outside of fitness. ⁣ ⁣ The reason you step on the scale and feel stabbed in the gut and disheartened from what you read is this:⁣ ⁣ YOU ARE CHOOSING TO LET THAT NUMBER DO THAT TO YOUR EMOTIONS!⁣ ⁣ Because YOU set it as a value and therefor a metric for your success and its not easily controllable outside of eating less. ⁣ ⁣ A lady this morning over email said she’d be “so much happier” if she was 3kg lighter…⁣ ⁣ I told her that she could accomplish that with dehydration alone by lunchtime. ⁣ ⁣ See my point? ⁣ ⁣ People expect a bit more money, a bit less weight will make them happy without really truly delving into what VALUES are right for them. ⁣ ⁣ Fuck me, I’m not surprised you feel you “need motivating”… so many of you haven’t even figured out what truly makes you happy yet. ⁣ ⁣ Determine YOUR values.⁣ ⁣ Set a plan of action towards them. ⁣ ⁣ Unless you’re competing in a weight class, chances are you don’t need to be lighter. ⁣ ⁣ What do you really want? Without a clear understanding of that, you’ll really fucking struggle. ⁣ ⁣ James

Ukratko – većina ljudi ne želi izgubiti težinu ni kilograme, žele se osjećati i izgledati bolje. Gubljenje masnih naslaga može rezultirati gubljenjem tjelesne težine, ali vaga ne bi trebala definirati tvoje unutarnje ni vanjske vrijednosti. Popij dvije litre vode – bit ćeš teži za 2 kilograma. Realne promjene ćeš primijetiti u ogledalu, na svojoj garderobi i prema onom kako se osjećaš u svojoj koži.

Jedna gospođa mu je rekla kao bi bila sretnija da je 3 kilograma lakša, rekao joj je da to može postići samo s dehidracijom do ručka. Pročitali ste post? Nema potrebe da idemo previše u dubinu.

Samo smo htjeli podijeliti dobre vijesti, možda netko treba čuti.

Možda vam masa editiranih osobnih trenera na Instagramu odmaže u postizanju vaših osobnih ciljeva jer vas demotivira savršena fizionomija ljudi kojima je to posao, ali James je lik kojeg je dobro imati u feedu – za reality check s vremena na vrijeme.

Realno, lik je najjači.
